Car Rental Concerns

I booked a premium level car through Enterprise ($192 including taxes and fees for a week) about a month ago. At that time the premium car was going for much less than the economy cars. Today, just for kicks, I checked the website to see what the current rates were. They now want $364 for the premium and over $500 for an economy. Is there any chance that when I get to the counter they will have "lost" my reservation and try to make me pay more? Has this ever happened to anyone? If it does, does anyone know the best way to handle this? Also, why are the economy cars so high? I can't imagine anyone driving enough to make up the difference in gas savings.
Print your reservation and bring the hard copy. They can't lose that.
We always bring a print out of the reservation just in case. The last car we got, had changed reservation for lower price, the rental place said the price was higher than what it was to be. When we showed them the hard copy they gave us the lower price.
Wow, you got a good deal. When you see a good deal it is best to jump on it right then. Yes, take your confirmation with you.

Assuming you have the confirmation # and rate with you, I can't imagine you having difficulties. Rental car companies have literally dozens of rates. It seems no two people are paying the same price. Same as airlines when a person who bought a ticket for $49 is sitting next to someone who paid $349 for their ticket. It's all in the timing, discount offer and in some cases whether booked on a PC vs. Apple product (Apple solutions sometimes quote higher).

Regarding the over $500 for an economy car, I infer they have sold out of that class of car for that timeline.

Nevertheless, you would be surprised the mileage people can put on a rental. Side trips to Grand Canyon, Pacific Ocean, wine country, etc. I booked a rental in Orlando for Disney and put well over 1,000 miles on it, with a run to Atlanta to visit a friend, beach line in Florida.
They should honor your reservation. People tend to take economy cars because of the gas mileage, but I find the premium cars to be not that far off. I usually get around 22 mpg with a premium car.
I bring my reservation with me, but have never had an issue with them quoting me a higher price at the counter. It's the hassle of trying to get away without spending a half hour listening to their upsell of insurances that's a pain in the neck!
Printed copy every time. Enterprise runs a class operation at LVA, you won't have a problem.
As others have said, bring a printed copy of your car rental confirmation. To confirm it hasn't changed, look up your reservation on their website. Also, I always bring printed copies of my hotel reservation, just in case.
We always bring a printed copy. Sometimes the kiosk gives the wrong price but the desk has always corrected the reservation to agree with the printout. We use Alamo.
