I am sorry to see that Carluccio's closed on Tropicana. It was one of the few restaurants in Vegas that still had the old school charm with above average food and below average prices.
I thought the atmosphere at Carluccio's was far better than the food which I found to be very bland. It was a cool room with large portions of mediocre food. Glad I got to check it out before it closed but I'm not surprised it went down. There are better restaurants in town that have suffered the same fate.
I liked the place too. The decor was unique-the staff really worked with my family when one person in our party has celias disease (gluton alergy) and they were able to put together a great veal dinner.
