Or how about in the 2008 debates when Candidate Obama said he'd send a mission into Pakistan to kill Osama and Sen McCain said he would not.
Obama has said since 2007 that catching Osama would be his number one National Security issue, unlike the previous administration. When he took office, the CIA didn't even have a desk dedicated to the hunt for him. The agents originally assigned to the hunt had all retired or been transferred.
