In his statement yesterday after releasing the certificate he said " Now I have important things to do"

This included an interview with oprah and 3 fundraisers in NYC. Hopefully he will find some time to run the country

Don't forget the golf and the 38,000 per plate meet and greets where he will shut traffic down during rush hour. I'm sure that is part of running the country.

I personally find it a good thing that President Obama uses numerous means to communicate with Americans.

Love her or hate her, it's beyond dispute that Oprah has a lot of viewers. Same for the New York Times, The O'Reilly Factor, Facebook etc. Because I remember the preceding administration's approach, I for one like how this President is so willing to be interviewed.

I doubt you'll find many smart folks who disagree that the way we finance Presidential campaigns in this country is absurd. However, it is what it is, and until the game's changed, even this President will be forced to play it.
Well said, chilcoot. Just don't expect any positive comment from the tea-party croud in here, ha ha!

I'm not a teapartier. Hell I even voted for Obama. I really do regret it though.
I guess you don't see the irony in him saying that he has important things to do (such as running the country) & then flying to Chicago for an interview & then to NYC to raise money

I personally find it a good thing that President Obama uses numerous means to communicate with Americans. - HE MAKES MANY SPEECHES & IS ON TV ALL THE TIME BUT EVEN THE WASHINGON POST IS QUESTIONING HIS INTEREST IN LEADING THE COUNTRY

Same for the New York Times, The O'Reilly Factor, Facebook etc. Because I remember the preceding administration's approach, I for one like how this President is so willing to be interviewed. -THESE INTERVIEWS ARE ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY SOFTBALL INTERVIEWS. PRESIDENT BUSH WOULD HAVE DONE LOTS OF INTERVIEWS IF HE WAS ASKED FOR SUCH IMPORTANT THINGS AS HIS NCAA PICKS

I doubt you'll find many smart folks who disagree that the way we finance Presidential campaigns in this country is absurd. However, it is what it is, and until the game's changed, even this President will be forced to play it. - HE FACES NO OPPOSITION UNTIL NEXT SUMMER SO WHY ALL THE CAMPAIGN TRIPS NOW? SHOULDN'T HE BE CONCERNED WITH RUNNING THE COUNTRY?

How about him handling the 10 issues I brought up? Notice how you & chilcoot are more concerned about his tv face time as being important. His poll numbers are in the low 40's and dropping. A Hearst/Frankin Marshall poll has him at 39%. Poll numbers from PA has him at 42%. If he loses PA he will lose the election

Undecided, since hardly anybody is running against bambam. Not trump though

Leaving politics aside (your welcome, Roulette Man), I can't figure out what there is to admire about Donald Trump. Certainly he's not very good at business.

Even if you believe his claim that he is worth $2.7 billion, based on his inheritance thirty-five years ago, his performance is 50% WORSE than the S&P 500. If you believe most analysts who put his net worth at less than one billion, the S&P did five times as well as the Donald. He may be standing on third base, but he sure as hell never hit a triple, or anything that made it out of the infield for that matter.
