cartoon characters on strip

There are so many cartoon characters near Flamingo & the Strip: at least they're not as annoying as the porn slappers. We came back Saturday from our recent trip. The funniest character I saw was Sylvester the Cat by Bill's sitting (laying) on the sidewalk either sleeping or past out with a beer bottle close by. Somewhat pathetic but still funny to see! I wish I had my camera with me. Does anyone have any fun pictures to post??

Do these "characters" work for the city, the casino they stand in front of, or are they self-employed ?

Nothing, and I mean nothing, documents a trip to Vegas like a photo with Mickey Mouse.

I think they are street hustlers doing their thing. We've taken pictures holding the parrots. $20. I like them. It adds to the Vegas is not like home atmosphere.

I have no issues with them really. At least they are DOING something to try to EARN some money and not just sitting up on those pedestrian bridges with a sign.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey !!!!!!!! ........... It took me a long time to make my sign.
