The Republican Congress is chomping at the bit to pick up where they left off under W. it remains to be seen how this agenda will be embraced by the Trump administration. But Republicans in Congress are letting their ambitions be known:
The egregious earmarks that Republicans took a moral, principled objection to under a Democratic administration are suddenly a valuable tool again. Government spending is no longer the root of all evil. The earmark ban will be voted to be lifted in the first weeks of Trump's inauguration.
Earmarks back in style again.
"Small Government" defense spending increases are a top priority for Republicans who are eagerly looking to remove the spending sequestration limits put in place under the Obama Administration.
More aircraft carriers, anyone?
The "Small government" Great Wall of Mexico is already being blue-printed as we speak. As are appropriations for massive personnel increases of the border patrol making it bigger than the FBI.
Gee Whiz! What does that cost?
But have no fear! The Republicans are promising to pay for all their small government spending with a tried and true method. TAX CUTS! And they'll be using an accounting method known as "dynamic scoring" to do their math. At its heart is the belief that cutting taxes results in more revenue because of increased economic activity. And that idea was born out in George Bush's balanced budget at the Federal Level....and more recently Sam Brownback's balanced budget in Kansas.
Tax cuts to pay for it all!
Good luck, America! We'll be winning soon enough!

You forgot the part where they want to nominate Jamie Dimon as Treasury Secretary. Drain the swamp my ass.
