Celebrating a very special birthday

And, if the restaurant at the top of the Tower is a bit too pricey, consider Mon Ami Gabi, also in the Paris hotel. Weather permitting, it's fabulous to sit outside and watch the Fountains across the street. Awesome French cuisine and ambiance.
We are staying at The Cosmopolitan 4 nights comped out of 5. We actually started coming to Vegas in the 1980's, and have continued on since then. I believe I probably have around 20 trips there with my last time there last November.

What & where would I get a mobility scooter? Also would it fold up as I am renting a car? Any idea the cost?

Thanks for the suggestion.

Diane

Just use it when you are at your hotel.
Too heavy to get into a CAR or truck.

Not practical if you are going cross town.Just locally.
Yes,I have seen the mobility scooter guys deliver to hotels downtown, at least.

Some day,I will need to get one for downtown. My feet are JUNK.

I'll bet she clicked.
I believe the hot tub at the Bamboo Pool right there at the Cosmopolitan is operated year-round. In the March weather getting in and staying in the hot tub can be delightful, but getting out in the cool weather can be agony. So if you're considering it I suggest bringing a heavy robe just for that purpose.

And the pool is low-key - as opposed to a "party pool" - which sounds like it might be to your liking.

You bet I did! lol

Yes we do enjoy the Bamboo Pool & it's good news about the hot tub being open year round. We certainly

will make use of that while there & hopefully the pool too if it is open.

You picked a good time to,Diane. Great weather and not too bloody hot then.
That's around my target that plan on going as well.
I'll be down town. I don't need a rental car. I do Uber and it's great!!!!Busses are just OK.

I don't know 'Vegas enough to get around, anyway. I'll just get lost in the strip area and don't know where to park or how to get there at all.
I have a few months B-4 I need to decide on my hotel/casino choices.

You are already made, except for the rental car horse-crap ordeal.
It will be GREAT!!!

Before I go in March,I'll do a little more walking to build up my muscles in preparation for VEGAS,BABY.
HI ddd

I already have my car booked with Alamo as I am a member with them & save a few bucks. I also am

able to book in at the kiosk instead of having to stand in line for the desk agent. Much quicker etc. I

know Vegas fairly well so have no trouble driving around & always do valet parking at all the casinos we

visit. I did join Southpoint's e-mail & Silverton's so hopefully in the New Year I will start getting some

cheaper offers for our first night. We don't arrive that first night until late around 10:45 pm so by the time

we get out of the airport, get the car etc. it will be probably around midnight or so. I will be pretty tired

& want to not drive too far for our hotel room. On the car issue since I first booked I am now down

$14,00 from the initial booking & keep checking & when I find it cheaper I book & then cancel the

more expensive booking. Hopefully over the next few months it will come down even more.
