Where did you meet the last three? It's too bad that Roger Cook wasn't with them

While playing craps one night at Caesars Rosie ODonnell was at a nearby $25 bj table having a hell of a good time there with the other players.

Ive played craps with Celine's husband many times at Caesars and Bellagio. quiet, and like every other craps player except he loses more.

played craps at bellagio with some of the Lakers when they were in town for some exhibition game. they dont roll the dice... they reach out and drop the dice at the back wall.

Ive never seen a celebrity at a machine... any kind of machine.

most sports figures play craps.
Julia Roberts at the Mandalay Bay when they were filming Oceans 11,,,no interaction

Tito Ortiz in Bellagio at a BJ table- he was playing about 4 A.M.in the Bellagio with a couple of his entourage and his wife (pre-Jenna) was sweating him in a chair behind. I had a pretty good buzz on (not drunk just feelin good. Walked up to the table, sat down in seat 7,,he says "this is a private game" I look at the dealer he gives me the wtf can I do about it look,,off I went. Kill-joy mf'er. I used to love Tito fighting in the UFC and often cheered for him. Happly, from around that time on he was getting his ass-kicked with regularity..this at least made me happy for a few years.

Johhny Chan sitting in the reception area of Jasmine talking to a friend of his. I rolled in to make a dinner reservation. Saw him as soon as I walked in. He looked up, I gave him a nod, he nodded back. I made the reservation and left. (this was during THE BIGGEST POKER GAME IN HISTORY in May 2004 with Andy Beal $100,000/$200,00 blinds) Watched that game off and on for a week,,,CRRRAAZZZYYY!!!

Anyways Jennifer Harmon walked past me and looked at me as she was leaving the room, I said Hi, she looked right through me. I guess I was the invisible man that day. The rumour is that she won $ 8 million from Andy. For those wondering what the 100k/200k blinds means. If you get dealt your two cards and didn't want to continue with the hand, you are in the small blind and have already put in $100k prior to the deal. You look down, yucky cards, fold, boom you lose $100k in less than 30 seconds. There were many hands where either player could have well in excess of $500,000 each in the pot. Sometimes over $1 million EACH in the hand. Fascinating to watch that kind of mooolah getting tossed around.

I would go back to my $4/$8 limit game when I got tired of watching and contemplate my miserable life.

I met Anthony Curtis at the Palazzo a couple of years ago. I was waiting for my husband to come down from the room, and was standing in the main aisle by gift shop. A man was on his cell phone, and I thought he looked like Anthony Curtis. When he was off the phone, I worked up the courage to approach him. He was gracious and friendly, and dressed impeccably! Also, was at the Wynn on their Grand Opening, and said hello to Matt Lauer who was there shooting the Today show live with Katie Couric.

Back in the day...the Dunes...Tony Bennett & his band where scarfing up on the late night $.99 Eggs Benedict. I swear his group, me & the hubby were the only ones in the place. This was our 3rd night for the best Eggs Benedict we've ever eaten. Wasn't sure about approaching this group, but, one of them looked over and I waved at him...he came over, asked where we were from..told him Chicago area...he yells across to Tony...hey, these folks are from Chicago, next thing we know, we're having breakfast and champagne with Tony Bennett, chatting about how much he enjoys Chicago and performing @ Ravinia. The funny thing is, the waitress brought me & hubby our bill, Mr. Bennett said...oh no...add this to my bill, he autographed our bill...To Lin & Char...I love(actually a heart)Chicago...that toddlin' town...enjoyed our breakfast...heart..Tony. I actually have this in a picture frame, with some pics I took from that meal. This is the best memory I have from LV, it outshadows the 1st time I hit a RF.
Redd Foxx a couple of times (years back). Interestingly, he is now buried about 4 graves away from my sister. His tombstone has little red foxes on it.
Met Terry Fator after his show
Saw in a casino (not in a show) but didn't meet:
Wayne Newton (when he was about 15 and still singing lounges downtown). He was outside walking around between shows because he was too young to be in the casino
Tom Jones
Carrot Top
Tom Arnold

I was reminded by my father in law that there was a weekend a few years back when Bill Richardson who was governor of New Mexico was at the restaurant we were at in Bellagio (I dont remember the name). Richardson was there asking if he could get a table for dinner. He was told he didnt have a reservation so they couldnt seat his party. So my father in law goes to the maitre de (they knew each other) and said... "thats the governor of New Mexico." He got a table.
I played craps with Chip Reese at Sam's Town about 6-7 years ago. He came in with a buddy (they had obviously just finished golfing), and they each bought in for $50k - you don't see those kind of buy-ins at Sam's Town very often. He was a really friendly guy - I knew who he was, but asked hime if he was Chip Reese anyway. He smiled, shook my hand and asked my name, and after that it was just the usual chatter between strangers at a dice table. I asked him if he was playing poker there later (so I could avoid the poker room if so), and he said nope, he was hooking up to play at Bellagio later that evening. I think the friend that he arrived with is one of the wealthy amateurs that play on the High Stakes Poker TV show occasionally, but I can't be sure since it's been so long.

Anyway, Chip was a class act and seemed like just a normal guy with a large bankroll. I was saddened to hear that he passed away a couple of years ago.
In the late 80's, saw Jimmy the Greek outside of the Barbary Coast. Kind of sad looking, with a cane. This was after he was let go of by CBS for some comments perceived as racist.

Chip Reese was well liked by everyone that knew him and he certainly was a class act.
RIP, Chip
