Usually sold out is indeed the case for Celine's shows. Keep in mind that all casino properties hold a percentage of the tickets back to use for player incentives/offers/enticements. (ie. the mail offer that was mentioned). In other words - not all the tickets for a show will ever go on sale to the public. Then there are the tickets that are held for offers by certain credit card companies/fan clubs/etc that are also not available to the public. That's where the day of show releases come into play. If the property still has tickets that were held back for any of these uses available on the day of the show, they release them for sale to the general public.If you wait til the last minute there is never a guarantee that there will be any available on the day of your choosing, but it can happen.
I've seen Bette Midler from both the Front Orchestra (centre) and the 1st Mezzanine levels (left side), Cher from 2nd Mezzanine (far left/ 3rd last row) and Elton John from all - Front Orchestra (2nd row centre/left), Rear Orchestra (2nd last row centre/right), 1st Mezzanine (far right) and 2nd Mezzanine (centre/left). All of them were great views in my opinion, and I never felt too far from the stage in any of them, even from the back rows. If price is a factor, I would not worry about the less pricey seats at all. In fact, I actually preferred the seats that were a little further back in the rows for a better overall view of the stage.
I have not seen Celine's show, but friends who have say that she moves around the entire stage throughout the concert, so you will get good sightlines for her from any location.
