CET stopping mailers, going Green

why is being more environmentally aware a scam? maybe they are saving money from it but so what?

that said, there were 5 pieces of mail in my mailbox yesterday. 4 of them were from CET properties. Not going to complain because one of them was $150 in free play locally
Green is also the 'color of money'. Coincidence? Since they're obviously only going partially green, maybe we should call it something else...like going 'Chartreuse" or "Aquamarine"
Just like Mare, I also got 3 mail offers from Rincon yesterday. I also got another one about airfare to Laughlin at Harrah's no doubt.
I don't have an E-Mail address at home, just at work,
so a lot of stuff goes through a quarantine thingy before/if I get it ..... then I could miss seeing it because of the hundreds of junk E-Mails.

I like getting the casino stuff via Snail Mail, ..... IT'S FUN !!!!!, IT'S EXCITING !!!!!, ......... and it's not a BILL !!!!

Re-reading my host's email more carefully, and it seems somewhat nebulous as to exactly what constitutes "paperless" mailers. Here is the pertinent paragraph:

"First, we are excited to be an active leader in our communities to provide a more “GREEN” environment. Our marketing will start “paperless” mailers that will eliminate your bulk mail you receive directly in your mailbox. We have extended our green initiative commitment by having access to all of our customer’s accounts to update eligible and future promos. This will provide the direct assistance needed for any upcoming visit. We hope to gain your confidence by assisting with these reservations with up-to-date info on each Las Vegas Event or promotion since we are planning to have more great events for you for the upcoming years!"

Sue, your only one generation in for the folks to be able to have an email address and go gambling. The folks your dealing with are the ones who didn't grow up with computers. The older sets 40 to 60+ had computers come out during their teens and later. So there is going to be some resistance to that new fangled technology.

Mr. Personal Computer as we know it first come out during the late 1970's. Anybody born after that is the first generation of computer users. (they didn't know any better, WE did)
Five years from now, the implant on your left wrist will light up in red when a free play offer is in your email... a green light will light up when show ticket are in the offer... and a yellow light will come on when its a shopping offer.

then, when you are sitting at a machine and you are dealt four to the royal, your implant in your hand will tingle to alert you instead of the "ding" sound on the machine.

you will wave your implant at the check in kiosk at the resort which will activate the implant so it can open your room lock...
