Changes at Choctaw Durant OK

We arrived Sunday and Monday awoke to see that the Indian Clinic (formerly in front of the hotel) and the entire old casino were torn down. Only some metal being sorted was left of the old casino. I could not get a good reading on what is going (if anything) to be built on the sites.

Fastest demo I've ever seen!!!
They are building a new hotel tower and a conference center.
We also went yesterday and ended up signing for three jackpots. Excellent day!
Our third winning Choctaw trip in a row, so I'm not sure we'll be back to Vegas this year.
Corgimom:
Thanks for the information and congrats on the triple win!!
Do they still charge a fee to play each hand of BJ?

yep - you still have a .50 ante for table games. That keeps me off the tables there.
They have electronic table games (roulette only, I think) but I can't tell you how those work.
The craps table "roll" is done with cards, so that one also is confusing to me.
The craps table is the same as a regular one except that the result is done with cards instead of dice, which I think takes the fun out of it.

Also blackjack, craps and roulette all have the "Oklahoma ante" od 50 c per play.
(Which makes them unplayable form a gambler perspective.)

At Chocktaw they do have an electronic blackjack game that pays 3:2 and does NOT have the Oklahoma Ante.
Have to love Oklahoma Casino's I am from Oklahoma and you can find one every direction you turn. It has become crazy and for the most part a good majority are on the take. I prefer my Vegas trips..
we visited again yesterday and the demolition site has already been leveled and cleaned. That was quick! Signed for three jackpots again so this has been our best run of luck - ever, including all our Vegas trips. I know it can't last, but it has been a great ride.
And someone hit the Superman slot for $250,000 yesterday on a $2.50 spin.
The .50 ante per hand sucks. There are some casinos around Tulsa that waive the ante. There are so many casinos, competition has created some good turns for the players.
