changes at the Quad

Last there in April and no casino floor existed just a few tables in the front. The casino was in the middle of renos. Have they finished and is the complete casion reno finished?
We were there in April 2013 and it looked to be about 3/4 done at that time. It's hard to believe it is the same place. Nice lloking decor.

I have never stayed there though. Only went to hash House and Human Nature.

Joy
I'm there now. you won't recognize the place. still working on construction but its very. nice. front half is done. back half about half way done. new entrance doors next to carnival court.
The big questions are 1) are the elevators any faster,(2) is the same odor there, and (3) is the buffet the same.

The elevators have been good for sometime. Looking forward to visiting the end of the month.
The exterior redesign of this place is TERRIBLE. It looks like a prison from the Strip. With all the other hotels lights, attractions, and modern designs etc the Quad is probably the least appealing building on the Strip. Great job in making people want to keep walking by.
This is strange as we were there in March and the casino was mostly completed. Totally different arrangement, including entrance/exits. Perhaps you did not enter the main doors? Although no wins, we thought it was pleasant and fresh looking.

The one difficulty was finding our way to the elevators for Hash House - eventually with some help we finally found our way.

so from what i read the casino floor is renoed all the way back to the slots by the hash a go elevators? Is that a good guess?
