Cheap Eats for a Starving College Student?

You're right. There are only 3 left open in town, but they aren't all on the east side. There are 2 on the west side(Trop/Jones and Trop/Durango) and 1 on the east(Trop/Nellis).

Wow, I didn't know they closed a bunch of stores. Looks like they are reopening 2 new stores soon, 1 on Sahara and decatur and another on Eastern and Tropicana.

That should be more than enough to keep you fed for under $10 a day.

In any case, you should be shopping at the grocery stores and buying staple foods, fresh fruits and veggies, etc.

You can live for under $20 a week for food quite easily and healthily.
The coffee shop at southpoint has some great late night offerings

Let us not forget the "Dollar" menus that exist at many fast food places.

All of the very cheap eats are garbage food, so one should think about if they want to eat that crap every day.
There are the homeless feeding programs, soup kitchen, whatever and wherever they may be located in that area.

Food pantries as well.

Or dumpster diving. Good stuff can be found, if one is selective and sticks to the better places.
