Cheap margaritas, possibly on the strip

Somewhat related to another post, I asked if Casino Royale still had $1 frozen margaritas, apparently they do not, didn't know if other places, maybe O'Shea's or the like had reasonably priced margaritas or some other girlie drinks lol
Never could understand the "cheap" or $1 Margaritas. ???
Drinks are free when you gamble, and faster service if sitting at a bar playing.
I met some friends of mine at the casino once called Bill's,
which was once called the Barbary Coast.
They were Newbees to Vegas and were all excited telling us about the
Dollar Margaritas they were drinking,
while Rock'n Rita and I were drinking free ones that we received
while sitting at video poker machines.

Gotta concur with Rick. Don't think I've bought a drink in 20 years while in Vegas other than the obligatory ones at a show.
I get my money's worth in the long run, but I've certainly spent $500 on free drinks in Vegas many times.

Forgot to add:
Although the drinks are "free" I always tip,
and even if using a coupon, I put it down with at least $1.
The tip is for the service, but the drink is still "free".

Rick
Cheap margaritas are like glorified Slurpees. You are probably given the option to pay extra for a shot or two of Tequila to add to them.
Slot-a-Fun still has them - if you want to call those frozen kool-aid things margaritas.

I've reached the age where alcohol goes right to my love-handles so I drink less than I used to. When I drink now its only top-shelf hooch.

If I'm playing I usually take advantage of the "free" drinks lol, just thinking of those times when we might be strolling along and not quite in the mood for playing just yet. Haven't been to Slots a Fun, but I will definitely miss the ones at Casino Royale. Contrary to traditional thinking, they actually did have some alcohol in them, or I'm just a lightweight lol, and yes, I always tip for them as well.
