Yes. I have also noticed fewer and fewer human beings. I've started wondering where they've all gone. Digital something? Predation?
Perhaps I , too, will investigate this "front desk" thing.

Personally, I always check out by calling the front desk. Usually this is because when I check out (often middle of the night) the TV service isnt working. Also, I want verifcation that all comps (total rewards) have been applied, and I want to know what my "final charge" is going to be.

certainly the TV option is the best-- when you can use it.

yes, you can also just leave but why risk any additional charges to your room that you are not responsible for?
