I have fun when I'm with friends and family. Both of my boys (23 and 20) visited today. I had a couple of beers with friends Bob and Don after work. Some folks stopped by my office to see how my back surgery went. I'm meeting a San Diego buddy on Wednesday in Lexington, KY, as we both happen to be there the same night on business..............Steaks and sushi at Malone's.
I'm buying a flight tomorrow for our 10th annual "Gulf Coast Classic" in Houston. It's our tiny golf tournament with two teams of two, and there's plenty of drinking involved. As always, we will be attending Sunday's Texans game..........sitting on the 47 yard line about 22 rows up. Our tailgate will include about 40 folks............about a dozen of which I've become friends with over the years. We are playing Pete's home golf course, Champions, which is a past host to the Ryder Cup, the PGA Championship, and most recently the Tournament of Champions. Tiger, Phil, Ernie, all the boys have players there. The owner is a past PGA and Masters champion.
Only one of my boys can join me in Chicago to visit with my brother's family for Thanksgiving, as my oldest will be in Florida. Good for him.
All of this fun with family and friends makes me smile.

When was the last time Melonhead had fun and smiled? Smiling after killing a kitten doesn't count.

Just my personal observation, I tried to watch last nights NFL Packers-Bears game but I found it not possible. The Bears are a sorry excuse for an NFL team. I find it hard to believe that the Bears players are being paid MILLIONS of dollars to stink up the field, game after game. To a man, they should be ashamed. What a sorry bunch.
Wow - the doc barfs up his morning hatred, forgetting to even mention Obama. Surely the president is responsible for the Bears sucking so bad. Old, angry and bitter people seem to lose their memories faster than the rest of us....
I have fun and smile every time I read one of your teabillie posts or the doc's hate-filled rants, so I'm having a lot of fun!
