Back to the subject of the thread......

My nephew's team Pacific LL of Lynwood/Edmonds WA (Northwest Champions) was the first team to play the JRW LL team (Great Lakes Region Champs) and got trounced 12-2 in the opening game.

There were rumors BEFORE the LLWS in Williamsport got started last August that JRW was using ineligible players, these rumors were circulating at the LLWS Complex my brother who was there told me about them BEFORE one pitch was thrown. LL wanted this swept under the rug, as it was a feel good story, and it showed that their intercity LL programs were a success.

So what I'm saying is LL should have investigated a lot more before that team even got to Williamsport. So LL is also guilty of not doing their due diligence to get to the bottom of this in a timely matter.

This isn't a political or race issue it is a CHEATING issue! Adults cheated and other adults looked the other way (see LL) at the expense of 11-13 year old kids that just want to play and be successful at baseball.

I feel bad for the JRW kids who's experience is tainted because adults cheated. I feel bad for the teams they played and lost to JRW, especially the Vegas kids who were cheated at a chance to be international champs, and I feel bad for the team from the Great Lakes region who may have gone instead of JRW if that team wasn't illegally stacked.

My nephew's experience was an awesome one, even though they only won 1 game (now make it 2 after all of JRW's wins were taken away). Its too bad a few adults stain one of the coolest tournements in the world.

There is NO truth to the rumor that Tom Brady and Bill Belichick will be the co- Grand Marshall's of the parade.

There also is NO truth that rayxtwo posted an intelligent, factual statement defaming Tom Brady and Bill Belichick...

The JRW team leaders know they cheated. But, I doubt they are the only team to cheat. They cheated because they knew others were doing the same thing. JRW should have known that they would be under more scrutiny than other teams
They got caught, just like others were caught in the past. Other cheaters had to pay the price for cheating. So should JRW.
JRW needs to just accept their punishment and move on. There is no reason to bring race into this. It is just not that serious.

That's because it's going to be Mark McGuire, Roger Clemens, Gaylord Perry, and Pete Rose. Jerry Tarkanian had to cancel.

And when at long last are white leaders going to speak out against this white-on-white cheating?

And when at long last are LVA members going to speak out against the idiotic musings of forkush?

I coached Brownsburg LL baseball for many years, including the two years that we made the LL World Series, (and the two years we lost in the Regional finals) although I did not coach those all star teams. I know many of the kids and was close enough to know if there was cheating involved, and there was not. I have friends who are currently involved in coaching here, and there is still no "funny business" happening in Brownstucky.

I can't vouch to what's going on elsewhere.

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel is holding an event to honor JRW Little League this week and give them "championship rings". I know it is not the kids fault, but I think the politicians pandering to the black community is insulting. If you want to honor these kids, do so with NO ADULT and NO MEDIA present......but that would be wasting a good crisis.
