Chicago Little League's national title vacated

I believe strongly that the kids knew about the cheating. Hell, several of the kids played for different leagues the year before and everyone would have been asking about the geography changes. That being said, I don't blame the kids. Any and every kid is just going to follow along with the adults. They knew what was going on, though.

If you want to honor these kids, do so with NO ADULT and NO MEDIA present......but that would be wasting a good crisis.

I totally agree. The players knew the rules just like the coaches did. I also agree that the mayor is pandering to the black community. There is a mayoral election coming up next week. So, Emanuel does not want to piss off the black voters right before the election.
Why are the player being given championship rings when they are not champions? This basically condones the cheating. What kind of message is that for the kids. But, I expect this from people in Chicago.
By the way, I live in Chicago and have seen this type of irresponsible behavior for a long time here.

They have to reward cheating in Chicago, its a way of life for those entering public service and those serving.
I grew up close enough to Chicago to understand the pandering. About 25 miles out. It is a way of life with the Democrats. They buy votes any way possible.

The JRW team leaders know they cheated. But, I doubt they are the only team to cheat. They cheated because they knew others were doing the same thing. JRW should have known that they would be under more scrutiny than other teams
They got caught, just like others were caught in the past. Other cheaters had to pay the price for cheating. So should JRW.
JRW needs to just accept their punishment and move on. There is no reason to bring race into this. It is just not that serious.

Well if the other teams cheated it should have come out now or soon will.

I know on my nephew's Pacific LL team (Northwest) that "allstar team" was made up from the best players of 8 teams and they DIDN'T cheat. How do I know all of those kids were in that league? Because I went to all of his games and watched his allstar teammates on the various other LL teams smoke his not very good regular season team.

Also those same kids play in other sports (see basketball, soccer) in the same leagues either as teammates or opponents.

I believe that all of the teams my nephew's team played in districts, state, and regional tourneys were legit as were the other teams they played except for JRW.

Heck, Pacific, were 3 outs from not making it out of districts in their own ballpark, so there we teams locally and in the state tourney that were near their "level", and they actually had an easier time at regionals.

I dont think most teams cheat, I think it was the perfect storm of adults in Chicago cheating and LL turning a blind eye to said cheating.

The facts speak for themselves. The team cheated - and the "kids" knew it. Of course, then Obeyme and the mayor awarded these cheats. Just another example of rules being ignored to placate minorities.

Sounds like the quack doc got a 3 hour dose of Mark Levin last evening.

Must suck to hate 24/7 like you and your ilk do.

Marcis, Drmilled may be frequently angry yet his last comment was completely accurate.

I'm just curious marcis, do you regurgitate your stuff from liberal people on television? You sure seem to think everybody else does.
