chicken fried steak sandwiches

A friend emailed me about this. He is going to Vegas for the first time and says he saw a segment on some food show about a place in Vegas that makes footlong CFS sandwiches with fresh mozzeralla, and onins and bell peppers.
I love Chicken Fried Steak( aka Country Fried Steak) but the only place I know that makes a sandwich is in Chicago.
Anyone know the place he is looking for?
I generally find the Longhorn and Big Horn have the best CFS in Vegas, while IHOP has a breakfast platter - steak, three eggs, two pancakes, toast and hashbrowns that is the best bang for your uck.
You can get a whole bag of them at Wal-Mart for $5. Just stick them in the oven for 20 minutes and slap them on a bun with whatever garnishments you desire.
I love the CFS, but the CLBSM is even better.

They are microwaveable too, but not as tasty when prepared that way.
Never been in a Wal-Mart but these steaks are hard to come by in NY supermarkets. I usually order them from Omaha Steak when they have a 50% off sale.
They still are expensive at that price.

As far as I know, every Wal-Mart has these.

I tried them a couple of years ago thinking they wouldn’t be very good, but they were. If you heat them up in the oven, they are better tasting than you get in a lot of restaurants.
Not many Wal-Marts around here, but when I get settled in Vegas, I'll find them, hopefully.
If you like home cooking but are a foodie. Vegas has a local restaurant called hash house a go go. They were on man vs food and have a dish chicken eggs Benedict from that. But also their Kokomo is a meatloaf sandwich and then the last time, we tried a country fried salmon and it was very tasty. I recommend if this is the type of food you like but want it elevated.

I am a fried chicken snob too and had the blue ribbon chicken at downtown summerlin and was impressed because I am over trying to find perfect fried chicken when people say they have something special.

And Main Street buffet and Orleans buffet have some pretty tasty fried chicken.

I have not heard of Cfs sandwiches. I would also be interested as my husband likes to order Cfs from time to time.

Just for clarification, is "Country Fried Steak" the same as "Chicken Fried Steak"?
