"A 24-year-old man has been charged in connection with punching a 78-year-old shopper in the face after the victim protested about how many samples the man had taken at a Nutella waffle tasting station at a Costco in Burbank, police said..."

I'm with the old guy, and I hope they put that spoiled snot nosed 24-year old under the jail.

I mean, who punches an old man in the face over a verbal insult? Or over anything?
Didn't your mama or papa teach you to walk away, dude?

I would have guessed that Marcis would slightly older than 24. Wow.

For my battle, I choose panties at 1 pace, to determine who sleeps (or not, as the case may be) on the right side of the bed.

1. At 78, I would think the guy would have been knowledgable enough to just move on.
2. The problem (if that) was the food representative's not a "vigilante" Senior Citizen.
3. So what if the guy was eating all of the samples ???
I would think there is more product below the stand or in the aisle shelf.

Not that I condone what the 24 year old did by any means,
but I feel the old guy had no reason at all to get involved.
Let the food service boothling handle it and continue on with your shopping.

Apparently this "entitled" 24 year old "man" gathered up ALL AVAILABLE samples and then punched the 78 year old man who was trying to get ONE of the samples and voiced his opinion that he wanted a sample and that the 24 year old should not take so many. I take umbrage at Rock'n Rick's take of this situation. The "old guy" had as much right to a sample as did the 24 year old "man". This 24 year old "man" faces up to 11 years in prison for elderly abuse - let's hope he receives some jail time where I am sure he will learn how to share.

Umbrage?, is that severe umbrage or the garden variety umbrage?

Joking aside, I kind of agree, the kid should get tossed in the clink, no excuse to nail an old guy over some Nutella. I bet his pants were drooping down around his ass too! Had to be if he was going to bring the hood with 'em into Costco.

DonDiego has never tasted Nutella.

Even taking a sample sounds dangerous.
