Chris Christie Spent 82k of Taxpayers Money on Food at NFL Games

Ok so 100 years ago. And Teddy Roosevelt is "life of strenuous endeavor", war hero, cattle rancher, African safari-er, getting shot in the chest and shaking it off. Christie is......?

America will never elect a president as obese as Christie. Whether they want to say it or not, people see that sort of obesity as meaning the person is weak. It's an immediate judgement. And what poor starving person wants a fat guy representing them? Who was the last fat president we had? Taft? Wasn't he the guy who got stuck in the bathtub.

It's also why the major network news anchors don't have southern accents. People immediately judge that the person is dumber than everyone else.

Teddy Roosevelt wasn't exactly svelte, yet I think he was pretty popular.

More funny pictures coming from Liberals.

Thats nothing. You should see the money he drops at KFC

So, Liberals are arguing the Gov Christie ate $5200 of stuff each football game? Is that what you want us to believe? That concept might be a bit silly, but if that's how you think, who am I to argue.

Maybe the games went into overtime.

DD's post made me laugh out loud.
We don't have to argue anything that is what the records say. He has been asked to provide a breakdown, but has refused. I suspect if divulges he treated other people he might run afoul of some public ethics law. So legally speaking he is in fact calming that he spent that much on himself.

Maybe he was courting some CEO's to get them relocate their operation to New Jersey. A hot dog here, a brewski there and all of a sudden they're building a new industrial park in Trenton.

So, it comes out to $5,200 a game?

The wife's firm has a suite for the Clippers, another for the Angels and 4 front row box seats for the Dodgers. I asked her how much they spent on a typical game. She said it's close to 10 grand if the suite is full.

It's really not that much in the scheme of things. Of course it IS taxpayer money so it should all be itemized and accounted for.

You are right. If there is an open bar, then it wouldn't be that hard to have a suite or a party ring that much up.

It's that dessert cart that comes around in the third quarter. I know I put a pretty good dent in the firm's budget when I belly up.
