Christmas Holiday Commercials Already?

Is it just me or does anyone else find it disgraceful that they have TV commercials in late October and early November for the Christmas holidays already?
I don't find it disgraceful. In fact, I've never used that word before.

But I do occasionally find it annoying.
Hey !!!!! ........ Christmas is only 49 days away

I know that if my trip to Vegas was only 49 days away, that I'd be already packed !!!!!

I think the world goes from the Halloween hoopla, skips Thanksgiving and then straight to Christmas.

Stores never used to be open on Thanksgiving but nowadays they are all open!!

It is disgusting to be in a store today and hear Christmas carols. Can't imagine the poor sales people
hearing it for so darn long.

Stores are fighting over who is going to be open FIRST for Black Friday. Hurry, hurry, don't waste a minute to get shopping.

Why not do your shopping on line this year and the heck with the stores!!!!!!!!! Ever stop and realize that the people that own most of the stores don't even celebrate Christmas???
I think commercials in November are fair game. When I see Christmas stuff being sold in late August/early September, that is a little too much.
Chessie, most stores are mom & pop and most of them celebrate Christmas (at least everyone I know). Its your big box that are questionable. Buy on line and screw your local businesses.
Christmas marketing in August ain't right.
November...don't care for it but I can live with it.
I'm in the camp of can't stand the push for Christmas sales so early. I chuckled at this, echos the sentiment

I think after 11/1 any Christmas advertising is okay. I have already begun my shopping!!! Living in New England, we never know when the snow is going to fly, so getting it done early is a big plus.
