Christmas music

Sirius satellite radio has a Christmas music station up and running. It started 11/2 and runs through 12/30. Christmas music should not be playing until at least after Thanksgiving.
I agree. Every year,it starts full bore the day after Thanksgiving. In the grocery stores,at the mall and it's the same 20 tunes on a tape loop.

When I worked in the automotive shop,it drove us crazy enough to stuff wet shop towels into the back shop speakers.

Bah,humbug! I don't do any holidays.

Even worse would be Justin Bieber Christmas music.

I'm still waiting for the NFL to announce they are going to have Justin Bieber for the Super Bowl halftime show (yes I know it is Lady Gaga this year). If they ever do so, it will be the first time ever that I change the channel and hope some other enterprising network plays a special halftime show.

Try having the Spirit of Christmas in your your heart every day. It just might your world a better place.

And the weird thing about Christmas songs is that most of the famous ones were written by Jews. Maybe they saved the good stuff for themselves.
"Santa Baby", worse Christmas song ever.

The merchants are scared of offending anyone against Christianity. Thus we get a loop of Santa Baby, Jingle Bell Rock, Jingle Bells, I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, Have a Holly Jolly Christmas, and "Christmas, Christmas Time is Here" by The Chipmunks.

Give me "Merry Christmas From the Family" any day.

Glad I don't live in your world.
As a long time music director and musician, I do get pretty tired of some Christmas songs. We're already rehearsing stuff for Christmas.

But then sometimes I take a stop back and really think about the sentiment of some of the songs, as Bill suggests, and I keep going
