Christmas Tree Poll

Real or artificial

Me - artificial, get to keep it up for over a month & for the price a good real one I get an artificial tree that lasts for years. We buy a wreath for the real tree smell
-
I have a very expensive artificial one, but I do have guilt feelings about not having a real tree.
Real. And they are spectacular.
Always a real one - an 8' to 10' tall Noble fir, that we cut down ourselves from a friend's tree farm a few miles away. Nothing beats the smell of a real tree in the house, it really makes it feel like Christmas!

REAL - so much about Christmas is artificial that it's nice to have something REAL to go along with the true meaning of the holiday.

Real. An artificial "tree" is like putting a condom on the holiday.
I am usually in Laughlin or Vegas at Christmas - so - whatever is in the hotel
Did the real thing for years and I finally got really tired of cussing it, from the stand, to making it stand and stay up straight, to all the pine needles that still can be found memorial day weekend because the vac cleaner broke from someone trying to sweep up needles, I had had enough. Against vehement spousal protests she relented and we got a relly nice artificial. Have for 10+ yrs now.

Rick,
Do you celebrate with the Airing of Grievances and Feats of Strength on Festivus Eve or Festivus Day? TIA.
Also, are they mouse droppings around your pole?
