I agree. From the arrest report, he repeatedly told the police that he smoked a lot of pot before he agreed to open the vault. I suspect he was trying to prevent being charged with intent to distribute without knowing about an automatic firearms charge in that situation.

I can understand prohibiting those with a drug conviction from having weapons, but getting charged for having legally purchased weapons in a secured safe in your house seems a bit much.

If you smoke pot (even in a state where it's legal), you can't legally possess a gun. Section 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(3) of the Gun Control Act of 1968 bans firearms possession for anyone “who is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance.” Marijuana is considered by the Federal Government to be a Schedule 1 Drug....just like heroin, LSD and cocaine.

The show started to suck years ago when they started giving him, Corey and the old man more "parts" in the show. Rick is the only one who is decent on camera. If it was only Rick and the people coming in, it would be much better again, like it pretty much was in the beginning.

Pot is a schedule 1. really!?

The stupid thing about this is Nevada hands out medical pot cards rather easily.
