CIA torture report

I learned a bit more. Does PJ wish to learn about it?
Why was this "US civilian" a prisoner? Was he just hanging out in Tokyo well after the attack on Pearl Harbor?

Yes! Part of the charges of war crimes. Were those charges justified? Or not?
Below is another article. it took me 2 minutes to find it on Google.
We know you are not a massive hypocrite, Boilerman, so I'm sure you'll answer the question.

Japanese soldier convicted specifically on the charge of waterboarding

"In the aftermath of World War II, Japanese officer Yukio Asano is charged by a US war crimes tribunal for torturing a US civilian. Asano had used the technique of “waterboarding” on the prisoner (see 1800 and After). The civilian was strapped to a stretcher with his feet in the air and head towards the floor, and water was poured over his face, causing him to gasp for air until he agreed to talk. Asano is convicted and sentenced to 15 years of hard labor."

Google search "Pulitzer Prize bias". You don't even have to include the word "liberal" the search. The bias isn't a "card". It is a fact.

Web based publications are wide open to continuous editing by those with an agenda when the truth doesn't fit that agenda.

Seeing as how the victims of torture testified at the trials it would stand to reason they weren't dead. And Boilerman runs away from Pulitizer prize winning journalism behind the "liberal bias" card.

Next time you demand an answer to a question everyone should remember to point and laugh at you. I know I will. Happy Holidays.

I've already done my homework, answered my own question, and provided verifiable links to back it up. The exercise here was to see if you hold yourself to the same standard as you hold other board members. Clearly you dont. Thats not news to me. But maybe you learned something about yourself.

The invitation to answer the question is still open. But if the facts of your answer are backed up by an unverifiable source or a story from one of your "friends"...then please don't waste anyone's time.

PJ's Pulitzer writer claims that the Japanese were convicted because of waterboarding. Shouldn't this writer have mention that the Japanese who participated also beat this prisoner, burned him, kicked him, and performed two different type of water boarding? Why didn't PJ's Pulitzer writer tell us that after they put a hose down his throat and filled his stomach fully with water that they jumped on his stomach, stood on his stomach, and so on? Why didn't PJ's Pulitzer writer tell us that this prisoner was a civilian who had been wrongly charged?

This is a typical Liberal hack job, intentionally misrepresenting the facts to help push an agenda. A good newsman presents the facts and allows the reader to make an educated decision. PJ's Pulitzer story sounded fishy from the start.

If PJ understood all of the facts yesterday, why didn't he tell us that those who waterboarded the American prisoner also beat him, burned him, and performed two types of water boarding? Why didn't PJ tell us that they put a hose into his stomach and filled it fully with water. Why didn't PJ tell us that once his stomach was fully distended, that the Japanese jumped on his stomach, stood on his stomach, and kicked his stomach? Why didn't PJ tell us that all of this was being done to a wrongly accused American civilian.

One thing for certain............PJ qualifies for a Pulitzer.

Nah, but Politifact does. Maybe your source does too - but you dont have the fortitude to share it - or answer the original question....or hold yourself to the same standard as you hold me.

Thats several things for certain.
If PJ already understood these facts, there is no need for me to provide the link. Or is it possible that PJ didn't know this stuff?

Maybe PJ & forky can compare the photos of American POW's and Gitmo POW's. Maybe he can watch the movie Unbroken to get an understanding of how the Japs mistreated American prisoners.

Perhps then they can understand real torture is.
Quiz...who gets waterboarded more, curious reporters or terrorists. I know you liberals already know the answer!
