If you call pouring water on people abhorrent what do you call beheading 4 children?

I didn't use that word...the CIA DIRECTOR DID. but I agree with him.

I'll add this, rather a repeat of what I've already mentioned.

Of course you could show pictures of crime victims to justify torturing criminals, couldn't you?

If that's your style, maybe learn to speak Arabic. You'd fit in better over there.

Want me to find some pics of the beheadings?

I do find the holier-than-thou attitude pretty amusing, especially from you forkie

Here I did it for you. From WW II. And even though the Japanese beheaded prisoners and engaged in waterboarding and other forms of torture, we didn't torture, because America.

But if many more Americans share your beliefs, we will have gone from the Greatest Generation - to the Worst.

Actually I just pointed out that your claim that Saddam threw the inspectors out is not true. Anyone who makes that claim is a liar or a fool.

Of course those two conditions are not mutually exclusive.

Wasn't referring to those beheadings and you know it. Try again.

Obviously. I'm sure you don't know enough history to be aware of it. But in spite of Japanese atrocities, members of the Greatest Generation knew that torture was wrong.

Unlike members of the Worst Generation. Like you.

You didn't answer the question; if pouring water on someone's face is abhorrent, what is a beheading?

Wow. Forkie can't acknowledge what was going on at the time and that we were unsure of impending terrorist attacks, and then he somehow tries to imply it is no different than what the Japanese did in WWII. How disingenuous can one be?
There was a scene in Band of Brothers where one of the American officers upon hearing that his brother was killed, proceeded to machine gun German pows. Nothing was done and he eventually retired from the Army about 20 years later

I am sure incidents like that happened a lot, they just weren't reported

That's even more abhorrent. But I hold my country to a higher standard than a radical cult run by lunatics.

Here's a question for you, Hoops. What do you think of Vietnamese prison guards that tortured our POW's in that war? Were they scumbags or people just doing their job?
