Cincinnati for a first timer

Sorry, but the skyline chili is down right nasty. As a buckeye, I had it many years ago. Nasty. We were traveling with a friend and decided to stop since it is a "thing". It was downright disgusting. I remembers why I hadn't had it in twenty years.

The reds is a great stadium and cheap for a professional sport. We went on fireworks night and you could see the river at dusk from our seats with boats passing and then fireworks after. A very enjoyable evening.

Go to wright patterson air museum for free and allow several hours. I was not interested htbwent with family. It is pretty awesome. This is more towards Dayton I believe.

I am more of a Cleveland girl, so that's all I got.

I think it and most cities have those horse drawn Cinderella carriages. I looked t up to take my four year old hopefully in the near future.
Wright Pat AFB is a great place, but Campion should understand that it'll take 75-90 minutes to get there, depending on traffic. It's 5-10 miles NE of Dayton. I love Skyline Chili.
Kings Island is the largest amusement and water park in the midwest.

Yeah I won't have a TON of free time, and won't have a car, so I need to be realistic about where I can go.

The casino in downtown Cincy is now called Jacks. Use I-71 south, the exit comes right out at the parking lot.

2 Chillies

Skyline and gold star - typically either one or the other, I dislike them both.

GABP - great stadium, not a bad seat anywhere and the tickets are not expensive (but food IS another matter)

Wright Patterson AFB - home of the Air Force museum Take 1-75 north to 35 east, turn left at Woodman drive exit, follow the signs. Admission is free, highly recommend it

Kings Island amusement park - less than 30 minutes away on I-71 North.

Newport Aquarium - just across the river from the ball park.

I have to disagree again. Cedar point is the best amusement park in the world I am from central Ohio, so both cleveland and cincy were equal for us. We always picked cedar point over kings island. We always enjoyed cle better for some reason. My hubby is reds fan though, but I always had tickets to both Reds and Indians at different times. Baseball being a still affordable family outing.

As for downtown Cincy with no car, I'm not familiar enough with area. Enjoy your trip.

Kings Island is close, Cedar Point is hours away.
What exactly is jungle jims. A grocer? I googled it but not much info other than grocer. Why is it special? I've never seen or heard about them. Thanks. Not familiar at all.
It's an interesting grocery store. I lived 35 minutes from the place, and visited once. That was plenty.

Ok so an important question is, can I get to the casino without a car?

I'm pissed the Red's are off when I'm there. Really love going to games out of town.

I do have tickets for Mariner's opening day. Never done that before
