Circus Circus...Have they cleaned up their act?

Years ago we were there and it was really bad. It had a very strong moldy smell about it.

A friend of mine asked me about it the other day.

She was wondering how it was to stay there.

The rooms from the picture sheltie looks nice, BUT I know when we went a few years ago the Casino was "BLAH" kids screaming and dirty looking. Maybe they improved. The buffet scared the hell out of us, all we could think of was Nat Lampoons Vacation............

We were there two years to make fun of the poor shmucks that go there but as soon as we got in some guy was handing out free drink tickets to Rock-N-Rita's. CC was pretty nice.

I still wouldn't stay there or chance the buffet but the casino and bar areas seemed ok.

Haven't stepped foot in there in years. It was down right nasty and the rooms were very gloomy and old. I wouldn't recommend it when their are so many nicer options in a better location. If their looking for value How about ti IP. Great location and decent. Love the balconies.

I enjoy the casino. By strip standards the games are pretty decent.

Rumor has it the buffet is much improved from the notorious-dog-meat one they used to have. I have not tried it. I would not stay in the hotel - Stratosphere goes for the same price and the rooms are much nicer.

I forgot to add that Rock-N-Rita's was a lot of fun.

I hate dirty screaming kids. Too hard to clean before cooking.

Up was the only direction it could go without being shutdown by the health dept

I had a friend who lost a bet to me a couple of years ago. The agreement was that the loser would have to eat at the Circus Circus breakfast buffet. I went with him. While it isn't gourmet, I'd have given it good passing grades. The interior was nice also. I felt he really got off the hook on his bet.

Hey Sheltie. Maybe visit the steakhouse and take home a doggie bag full of bones for the kids. Otherwise keep moving.
