For good this time.

Jubilee to Close

Thanks for sharing.

The new version of this show is not very good. The article writer feels the same way. I wish they would have left it alone and maybe it would have lasted a little bit longer. Classis Vegas is dying fast.
I have never been to it and told a friend we should go see it. I'm going up in January, so I think I need to put it on my list.
Everything runs its course. Probably for the best to move on. I saw "Fantasy" @ Luxor a few weeks ago and its not as good as before either.

I saw this show circa 2000 when a buddie's cousin comped us. I've spent much worse time in LV compared, but wouldn't pay to see. Understand though, that I'm not a "show" guy. A stand up comedy show here and there is about it. The production value was very good though. Now for a little "Jubilee" related trivia. The show was originally produced by the late Donn Arden.

1 - Name the Ballys Reno (Now Grand Sierra) show that Arden also produced. It featured a full sized 707.

2 - Name Arden's daughter that currently appears on national tv.

3 - Name Arden's son-in law, a longtime rock musician.

These are probably easier than I think.

Good Luck!

I'm sorry to hear that. Connie and I went to the show several years ago, when they were offering a ticket that included a look behind the scenes with one of the showgirls. It was great. Might have to do it one more time when we're there for the Super Bowl in February.
Saw the show for the 4th time last week; I guess I'll have to see it one more time on my next trip the end of January. Sad state of affairs....another long standing Las Vegas institution bites the dust.

The Power of Google:
Answer #1 - MGM Grand? It appears the plane was not a 707 and actually made in Las Vegas. Link

Answer #2 - I believe you're referring to Don Arden whose daughter is Sharon Osbourne. Link

Answer #3 - So Don Arden's son-in-law is Ozzy Osbourne.

Donn Arden developed Jubilee. Link

Did I win?
Saw it once, no desire to see it again
