JM, you are right on all counts. I never realized the plane was constructed in LV. It also was the MGM when I saw the show around '80 give or take. It became Ballys somewhere down the line though. I was a Reno Rat before I upgraded to LV for vacations and each trip would make it out there for at least a few hours. On one visit I found a nice deal on shirts in the gift shop. I was disappointed though because they only had "Ballys Las Vegas" in my size not Reno. Guess I should've taken the hint sooner!
Did any of you folks see Splash at the Riviera back in the 1985...............or since then? How about the "Playboy Girls of Rock and Roll" at the...............at the.............at the Maxim...........I had to Google that? Gallager? I also watched Sigfried and Roy way back in the day at the New Frontier in 1985 I think.
I sat first row in that 1985 Siegfried and Roy show and one of them, I can't recall, had been "slashed" by a big cat some time before. When he spread his arms causing his shirt sleeves to pull back, I could see the substantial scars. All were good shows.
Wow - I can't believe the Sharon/Ozzy Osbourne connection! I saw the show twice - both times with my late husband. I guess all good things must pass - we both enjoyed it.

There's no connection unless Sharon and/or Ozzy saw the show.
Gail, Sharon Ozborne was Donn Arden's daughter and worked for his production company, giving her entertainment mgt experience. Can't remember how she came across Ozzy or if they hooked up before she started managing him. I don't think so, but not sure. When she left to manage him this created a rift between she and her dad which lasted a while.
