Clinton Told FBI Colin Powell Recommended Private Email: Sources

Seriously? Is she trying to shift the blame to someone else? I suppose if Powell told her(if he said anything) yold her to jump off a bidghe she would. How about if he told her to nuke Libya, would she?

"..According to the Democratic nominee, Powell made the suggestions at a small dinner party shortly after Clinton took over at the State Department in 2009 and in an email exchange around the same time, The New York Times first reported. Two sources later confirmed to NBC News that Clinton gave that account to investigators in July..."

"n a statement Friday morning, Powell's office said: "General Powell has no recollection of the dinner conversation. He did write former Secretary Clinton an email memo describing his use of his personal AOL email account for unclassified messages and how it vastly improved communications within the State Department. At the time there was no equivalent system within the Department. He used a secure State computer on his desk to manage classified information."

Powell never used his private email for classified communication nor recommended that Clinton should, the sources said. Powell only sent or received classified information from a desktop computer in his government office, they added.
Clinton has frequently made what critics describe as misleading comparisons between her use of a personal email account and Powell's.

When he took over the State Department in 2001, the agency did not have a computer system for unclassified email..."

  • This post contains "classified information."
  • It is currently being stored on Anthony Curtis' private server.

    Lock him up!
  • Is that computer out by Red Rock or closer to the Strip?

If only The Hillary had used AOL. Heckfire, they'd've sent her a free 5½-inch floppy if'n she'd've asked for one.

Does anyone have the dates for Colin Powell's testimony before Trey Gowdy? I know what a huge, non-political issue this is.
Here's one for the record books!!! I agree with PJ!! Liarry's email is no big issue EXCEPT if she deleted work product or classifieds information. But alas Liarry did erase work emails AND classifieds info. If her last name wasn't Clinton shed be in the graybar motel. Here's hoping she gets what she deserves.

Why would it be an issue, he's been out of govt. for how long? and most importantly HE'S NOT RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT. ,but thanks for playing.
Yesterday, the Government settled its case against the Navy SEAL who published a book that revealed many classified actions. As a result of his book, America's enemies learned far too much about some of our nation's most closely kept secret operations.
Can we expect Republicans to perhaps hold a hearing on this, or will we have yet more hearings on emails.
