CNBC: "MONEY TALKS"

I know the show is total BS but is anyone else watching????

Ray
Almost 400 views and no replies??? Guess I'm the only one that watched it.

Yep I watched it. The guy charges 40% to 50% commission for his insights on sports book picks on winning tickets. Talk about getting fleeced. In that show the guy lost his client's first two bets, $10,000 & $20,000. Then he got lucky and convinced his client to bet $60,000 on the Seahawks vs Arizona and won. I can make my own picks and come out with the same or even better results. And the reps are continuously trying to upsell their clients. I live in Los Angeles and would like to find a legal service where I can make Las Vegas sports betting but not sure such a thing exists nor would I agree to a 40% to 50% commission on my winnings.
Buyer (Bettor) Beware

Out of curiousity I called their office. The guy really hustled me to try to open up an account with them. He made it clear that they are not bookies. He said that he could provide me with consultative services. Furthermore due to the fact that I live in Los Angeles and as a result cannot make my own bets in Las Vegas he recommended that I fund an offshore account with one of the many sports betting websites online. He assured me that he had many good games to wager on and that I could make lots of money with his consultative services. At this point the call disconnected as a result of me pushing the end button.

This "hustle" has been going on since the beginning of gambling! If they are so damn good. Why don't they just bet $100K on each game they "feature" and not mess with calling clients. Because they know they don't have "inside" information and are just boiler room business. No different than the guys who used to have the TV show "pro picks" Jim Feist, Wayne Root just to name a couple!
I would never pay them a dime to "guess" on the game. Hell, I can do that.

Exactly. Same thing is true of the companies that sell gold on cable news.

Why the heck are those gold sellers investing in television ads instead of buying more gold? HINT: It's not because they're stupid.
The sad thing is CNBC is giving this guy a show about ripping people off. This is no different then if they gave a show to a penny stock pump and dumper, who cold calls and pressures people into buying worthless stocks. ie. Wolf of Wallstreet

Also, the two big bets MIA vs. NC and SEA vs. ARIZ, both took place on Thur Oct. 18 (twenty-five minutes apart.) They made the SEA vs. ARIZ bet appear to be placed after losing the MIA vs. NC, when in fact they were being played at the same time.
I watched for maybe 30 minutes and gave up, deciding the guy was too irritating and just a hustler. Plus, I would prefer picking my own losers than having that jerk tout me onto his.
I was waiting for some replies to show you what I may have found out about the guy.

Conviced Felon???
