thanks! ill be in niagara falls and toronto.
Enjoy, Toronto is my home town and we love visiting Niagara Falls, lots of fun!

For takeout coffee, Tim Horton's is the best, bar none. Starbucks, on the other hand, only if you can put enough other stuff in it to mask the horrid charred & burnt taste they like to call "roasting". That has to be the reason they have so many of the fancy Latte type coffee drinks - you can't taste the coffe in them if you're lucky!.
For home brew, Gevalia is the nicest I've ever had. Well worth the price. But for convenience sake, I usually buy the Tim Horton's ground, which is more than acceptable!
Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee is the best coffee in the world, hands down. However, it is very, very expensive and hard to find. Usually, you have to go to a retail coffee shop such as Gloria Jeans, which you can find in most large malls. However, if you feel like indulging yourself or are celebrating some special occasion, this is THE coffee you want.
I have only had Starbucks coffee a few times and that was when I was in Vegas. I always wondered what that burnt, strong flavor was. I guess that IS what they call roasted. I really did not care for it at all.

I never buy coffee to go at any outlets. I always brew mine at home and use regular, everyday coffee. What ever is on sale.

first choice is dunkin donuts

second is a tie between mcdonalds or starbucks - mcdonalds is a better deal but it seems to be difficult to order "large iced coffee, no sugar, no syrup". they usually still put sugar in it, or somehow thinks this also means "no milk".

Disagree with DD's iced coffee, I like mine black and unsweetened, it was like drinking colored water.
McD's never, ever again. They don't get black (which means no milk) or unsweetened.
So, fortunately for me, my local Starbucks gets my order right.
I buy the Kirkland brand whole coffee beans(free trade Columbian or Guatemalan) and grind in my 40 yr old royal coffee grinder, when I brew a pot at home.
