Colin Kaepernick

My TV hasn't found an NFL game this season and I will give Kaepernick and his followers full credit.

We've had . . . the baseball playoffs.

As DonDiego understands it, the Chicago Cubs have only to win 4 more games to claim Baseball's National League pennant.

If the Cubs were to do so and subsequently win the World Series, . . . this would surely be a sign of the End-Times.
So poor old DonDiego hopes no one will be too upset if he does not cheer for them.

If the Cubs were to become Baseball's Champions and The Hillary were to win the election, . . . DonDiego would likely either convert to Catholicism and wait for the end or commit whatever-remains-of-his-time-on-Earth to excessive drink and zealous carousing, . . . depending on his mood on 9 November. [If DonDiego were a betting man, he'd put his money on drink and carousing.]

Aw, you're cute when you pout.

Personally, I can't imagine giving up (for example) on Clint Eastwood movies just because I disagree with his politics. Or John Wayne's for that matter.
Geez, I thought he was taking a stance against people disrespecting his flag. Isn't that his God given right in this country? Funny how the name-calling always seems to start from the left.

Last I looked, it's OUR flag, and if people aren't free to exercise the rights it represents, it's just another piece of cloth.

OddsWrkin has the right to pout and I have the right to ridicule him for it. Let's leave God out of this.

Pout?

I have no idea where that came from.

I will not support someone who exercises their right as a citizen of the United States to dishonor the flag that so many have given their lives to defend. My opinion, which I am also free to express, is that these actions dishonor those individuals.

What's the word for someone that is so quick to defend an individual's right to express their freedom of speech unless that opinion happens to differ from their own?

Typical. Mr. Proud Patriot doesn't even know the Constitution. Freedom of speech in the First Amendment refers to the government infringing on speech, and does not reference commenters on the internet who might hurt your fee fees.

Sorry to break the news.
Typical. More belittling, color me surprised.

How does your "right to ridicule" differ from my right to express my opinion on the same forum?

There has got to be a word that accurately describes this.

And don't worry about my "fee fees", they are just fine.

It doesn't.As he said, you are free to do your thing and he is free to do his.
