He gets 11.xx million this year even if he is released. He got about the same last year. Plus, he has tons of endorsement deals from when the 49ers were good. So counting this year's pay and the value of his endorsements, he probably has more than 30 million dollars in lifetime pay. At this point, he probably doesn't care if his career is over. I don't think it is BTW. If he gets released, somebody will pick him up. Hell Dallas and Minnesota are looking at dead seasons already because of QB injuries. I am sure they would snap him up if he became available. He can win if he has a good team around him.

You seriously think Dallas would snap up Kaepernick?

Dallas...where just two months ago 5 police officers were gunned down by a man who wanted revenge for police treatment of his race?

Dallas... where the players and owner wanted to wear a sticker on their helmets honoring police...and players and police victim's families walked arm to open their preseason?

I think they'd rather lose every game than bring in a distraction who will alienate 80% of their fans....like Kaepernick. I'm pretty sure most NFL teams won't hire Kaepernick for that reason. Of course I was shocked when the Eagles signed the Dog Killer Vick too.

Apparently the Despicable Dallas Cowboys gave free-agent Austin Davis a look yesterday, 31 August, . . . suggesting a lack of faith in their present #3 QB, rookie Jameill Showers.
