Mally is correct. I couldn't tell you how many pickup drivers tell me that they can safely drive fast in the snow because they have 4 wheel drive. I explain that this feature allows them to accelerate more quickly in snow, but it does not help them decelerate in any conditions. Many seem baffled by this concept.
