Comey confirms criminal investigation.

FBI Director in Congressional hearing today confirmed that the FBI is currently conducting a criminal investigation into members of the Trump administration.
He also confirmed Trumps spying accusations had no basis in fact, as if anyone thought there was.

I wonder if he will resign like Nixon?

Resign? If you can thump an intern in the oval office and lie about it on national TV, I'd think he'd be OK with some of his folks being "investigated". Or should they stop the investigation and just throw them all in jail because Billy and Mali say so? I guess you're only innocent until proven guilty if you're a democrat/liberal.

What benefit would the Russians get from a Trump presidency?

With Obama they had a compliant president who was not willing to stand up to them & was reducing the military readiness. Clinton was promising more of the same.

So far we have seen President Trump proposing increasing the military readiness, and no change in policy that shows a softening in the relationship.
