Who else would it be then? Trump is going to likely lose Wisconsin as Walker, Priebus and Ryan all have their fingers on the scale in that state. This will make it more difficult for Trump to win the nomination outright even if he does well in the remaining races. Priebus and various members of the establishment are now openly and publically advocating for a contested convention. It looks to me like that is where we are going, so other than Ryan can you name anybody else it could possibly be?” I note in one story I read today they are using the terminology, “The least establishment establishment guy,” to promote Ryan.
I think the VP slot is more or less reserved for somebody that will appease the base's butt hurt, and I think that person will likely be Ted Cruz.
