Container Park?

Are the restaurants here worth going to? If so, which one?

How far is it from the end of the canopy?

(10) The Perch @ Container Park

A colleague of mine recently noted that my lists “are always good for a couple of WTFs.” Consider this the first. But I like The Perch because it seriously elevates the dining experience at The Container Park – one of downtown’s most popular destinations that was sadly lacking in higher-end food. I’m also completely addicted to the spicy pecans with rosemary and chile piquin. They’ve dethroned the cheese stick at Carnevino as my favorite bar snack (although you do have to pay for these).

It is about a block past the El Cortez.
The Perch? Well, they try hard, too hard probably. I personally wouldn't call it "higher end"

Pinches Tacos are some of the best street tacos anywhere. Its the sauces and marinades that makes street food great and they have it down.

The Bar-B-Que place is pretty good though I have not tried their ribs.

The only edibles I found truly worthwhile in the park itself were the craft brews at some of the outlets. Accross the street from the Container Park (on 7th Ave) is the restaurant "EAT" which is arguably the best place to get breakfast downtown.
Love Eat.
I have been meaning to get down there and try it out. It is a funny concept with all the containers. Thinking outside the box....

Thinking inside the box...
This is the first poor old DonDiego has heard of this "Container Park".

It's a cool plan for a low-building-cost shopping area downtown. DonDiego seldom actually purchases anything from such boutique-style merchandisers, . . . but he is intrigued by the firm that "repurposes" beer/liquor bottles. He hopes no brewery/distiller objects to the idea.
