Cooking porn

No not food you gluttons, so skip now if thats what you were expecting.

Well after finally getting that pesky kidney thing taken care of we finally got around to unpacking my new emeril cookware(for those who missed my post about purchasing it,I know it sounds super cheesy 'cause it's a "celeb name" on it,buts its really, really nice cookware). It didn't disappoint at all, can't wait to put it into action. The paella pan looks to be way cool. Hmm,I suppose i oughta season that thing, anyone gere have one?

So I'm pretty sure i'm set for the rest of my life as far as any and all cooking utensils i will ever need. The only other additional things i've kept and will always use are my well seasoned griddle, wok and iron skillet(thing weighs 100lbs haha). AHHHHHH the little things that can make you smile

Out with the old.........

In with the new.........

JOHN<-----------getting hungry now
If you have ever "seasoned" cast iron pans, it's basically the same way except for how long you are heating the pans. Get 'em to a low to med low, pour in cooking oil and wipe down with paper towels. Repeat after every use.

that's actually pretty good cookware. Harrahs gave me a slightly smaller set of the same cookware last year. I am happy with it
I understand how you feel! I asked for All-Clad pots/pans one year for X-mas, my girlfriend thought I was crazy!

The bummer is I moved and the pots made it to my new home, but I have no idea what happened to the pans.

My Mom and Dad gave me some Wolfgang puck stainless cookware, it was too heavy for them. I have just the extra large skillet out as the set is so big I do not have room for it in our present home. I cannot wait to get out new kitchen/house to be able to use it.
I spent $650 on a set of Pampered Chef's cookware. I am sure my ex-wife is enjoying them now.
I have a set of three cast iron skillets that once belonged to my great-great grandparents. They are amazing! Nothing sticks, nothing burns, everything cooks evenly. They work on gas and electric stoves as well as campfires. If I ever get married, I will require a prenuptual agreement...she can take my money and home, but no way will she get the skillets!
GOOD BLOODY GOD!!!

I see the thread title and prepare to whip my penis into a coma to some hot chicks in the kitchen. I click the thing, and yep...a bunch of pots and pans.
Those pots and pans are porn for some of us. I'm so jealous I don't have them.
No need to "season" the paella pan. Just disappointed that Emerilware is made in China.
