Coolest bars on the strip

I am looking to put together a list of cool bars for a little "pub crawl" for our upcoming trip in March. I am not looking for a place where I have to have trendy nightlife attire and a cover charge to get in. Just cool bars with atmospheres. I have not been to "The Pub" at Monte Carlo but recently saw pics of all the kegs that line the bar and will definitely check it out. Do you have any favs you would recommend?

Thanks in advance.
Mix on top of MB, no cover before 10pm, Minus 5 outside of MB, Bill's Casino bar is interesting on a good night, Red Square at MB, those two indoor/outdoor bars at PH, Encore lobby bar on a Saturday night Parasol Up/Down at Wynn, Margaritaville, Nine Fine Irishmen, lounge at top of Strat, Peppermill fire pit, Stripburger.
Heart Bar at Planet Hollywood, Seahorse Lounge @ Caesars
I second Top of The Strat and Peppermill. As long as it is nice out during the day I like the outside bar between Flamingo and Bills Gambling Hall, great place to people watch and take in a sight of the strip with the mountains in the background $2 beers

Those "kegs" lining The Pub at Monte Carlo are really a wall of lights with round covers sporting various brewery logos. It is still a cool bar with 75+ taps. But prices are expensive. I had two $10 pints there, and I don't think there were really full pints.

Nine Fine Irishmen at NYNY looks cool from the doorway but I've never ventured inside.

Not on the strip, but I like 4 Queens downtown where you can go to the Cigar Lounge and get a 64oz growler of their brewpub beer and carry it around on Freemont Street, watching bands or popping in and out of casinos, refilling your glass or just drinking from the jug moonshine style. With a couple of these a group of guys can make their own pub crawl.
I definately recommend doing a "Fire and Ice" tour which is the Peppermill Lounge sitting by the fire followed by the Minus 5 at the Mandalay Bay Shops. You can't go wrong with Fire and Ice.
The Todd English Pub @ Aria/Crystals is pretty good. I also like the casino floor bars, like Seahorse Lounge (already mentioned) at Caesers. Rouge bar in MGM is ok, if you like the colour red, and if you want somewhere very low key you also have the West Wing bar.

How about the ones shaped like a football? A few of those and we are definately talking about a kodachrome moment (wait, that stuff is gone, poor Paul Simon). Ok a Kodak moment....
I'd recommend a pit stop at Casino Royale for a quick $1 Heineken along the route.

Honestly, I think Fremont St makes for a better pub crawl. The hotels are closer together and there are some great brews on tap at MSS, 4-Queens, Henessey's...and then the little fruity drink places out in the street. And then once you're wasted there are tons of cheap diners to soak up the alcohol.

Besides, everythings within crawling distance. Isn't that why they call it a pub crawl????

Damn, I miss drinking sometimes...
