Cosmopolitan review

Oh BTW...You can use your Marriott Reward points to say there too.
cost is high; but I am comparing it to Bellagio, Aria, Palazzo, Encore and Wynn.

Not too sure on the pools. there are 3. Two in west tower and one in east tower.

***** Identity membership does offer "stay 8 nights, get the next one free" and that is for any level.

***** Anything charged to room gets point on the slot card. I will scan and post.

You can also use Marriott rewards.

I still think the casino is better than Aria - this one is much brighter and definitely has more life to it.
Identity info posted.

Andrew, nice review on the Cosmopolitan. Mirrors many of my impressions of the place.
You didn't mention which style of room you stayed in though. We had a premium terrrace suite with view of Bellagio fountains on 56 when we stayed in January. Like you, move over Wynn!!! Both the hotel and room imho. Unfortunate for us, they were still working out the bugs with the television technology so it was pretty useless then.
Everyone comments on the garage we never used. We valet parked each time, discovering you could valet in either tower and pick up in another tower if you wanted later. And you could run your valet barcode under a scanner and your car was automatically called up. Little touches like this go unmentioned but made our experience just that much better. And don't get me started on the outstanding staff and customer service.
Frankly, I probably don't play enough $ to ever get a comped room here, just hoping for a reduced rate offer. Either way, this is one room I would gladly pay to stay in again and again.
Sounds like you enjoyed Cosmo as much as we did. Thanks for writing.

Edited to add, just saw your photos posted and saw that you were in a one bedroom terrace suite, but which tower? Couldn't tell from the terrace photo.

Hi
We were in the East Tower. We did not have a view (due to my Marriott discount) - but was happy with the Terrace.

If you get one of the rooms facing the Bellagio fountains, in the east tower, dare I say that will be a better view of the fountains than a room at the Bellagio.
I can only imagine standing on the patio at 10pm at night (in the middle of summer) watching a fountain show - no better place to be in Vegas.

We also noted that there were plenty of cocktails waitresses. No waiting for a drink - even during Friday and Saturday nights.

In east tower you needed to insert room key to select floor.
***** there is a 2 to 4 second delay, once you insert room key. Once inserted you can select ANY floor and multiple floors, you have about 2 to 3 seconds before you have to re-insert key card.
This system avoids having a guard posted, does increase security, I saw MANY people on the ground floor calling people in their rooms asking them to come down and pick them up (yes there were a few "working girls" I saw needing assistance).

***** TV reset. Our TV in the bedroom did not work at first - just unplug the TV and power back on again, the software will be downloaded and your are all set.

Room info.
They used C.O Bigelow soap products, including small bottles of Mouthwash (something I noticed The Hotel no longer gave out) and larger than normal soaps (Nick Massi would be happy !!!!)

Concur with your take on the age of the crowd. I made 2 trips to The Cosmo, all the bars were packed both times. Early in the week around 12:00am and on a Friday around 1:00am. The difference on Fri. it was hip hop and dance music in the Bond and Chandelier bars with a dance club on the 2nd floor. Early in the week no music. The Book and Stage had live music both nights.
A singer playing acoustic guitar and a trio doing rock on Fri.

I watched a couple of fountain shows from a Cosmo terrace, and it was a great view, but you couldn't hear the music very well
We stayed in the east tower and didn't have to use our room key to use the elevator, although they told us

at the front desk that we would.

I agree about the drink service. Never had to wait for a drink on the Casino floor and the waitresses were all very nice.
I have been at least a dozen times. It is a great casino. Has a very contemporary feel. Always a lot of great looking ladies walking around and I have eaten ate several of the restaurants that were very good with good service a lil pricey for what it was but to be expected in a new hot spot like that. Over all I love the casino/hotel.
Nice TR and review andrew!

In the late Spring/early Summer that Terrace would quite nice for naps or a little somethin' somethin' with ones spouse.
