May well be. I know it's one of very few sounds in a casino I hate (only exceeded by "seven out line away").

I can't spell pterodactyl.

It plays just like Keno. Pick your numbers. Push buttons. Annoying sounds. Lose your money.

Isn't Caveman Keno is the one that makes the irritating monkey sounds, even when no one's playing?

That sound, wherever it comes from, is really really bad.

Sounds like screeching monkeys, but they are supposed to be dinosaurs (like mentioned above).
Also a volcano sound and like said before stones rumbling.
Yeah, screeching sounds are hilarious!

fernie 18- your posting got me thinking- how does one offend a smoker? Perhaps by asking them not to blow their smoke in your direction or not let their smoke drift into your breathing space? Of course most smokers already know where their smoke is drifting - but most don't care as long as they feed their habit. I say go ahead and "offend" them, they deserve it. The real offenders are the smokers.

Oh-oh...here we go AGAIN. If the smoking offends you...DON'T sit next to a smoker. Hell, I am a smoker and at times cigar smoke drives me nuts. And you'll never guess what I do ???? I move ! Duh !

i see i dont need to respond to this since pearlguy did it for me.

Does it comes in a cell phone ring tone?

A major gripe of mine is when somebody takes up a seat next to another player just to watch. These people seem to have no concern that the bank is busy and there are no other machines available. They do move when asked, but should be observant enough not to have to be asked.

Still regard smoking to be a more serious issue, but that has already been addressed.

I have to agree with the sitting next to someone playing- especially if the casino is crowded.
How do people not know????

?&@*&$*@^(@&$**&$^^#%*&&@#&^!!!!!
Also - how about somebody blatantly watching over your shoulder??? really????
how about a group of people standing behind you and when you hit a bonus, one of them taps your shoulder and says something congratulatory? like....dont touch me. ever.

I had a complete stranger grab my arm at a roulette table like she was my best friend. This was at one of my locals places. Apparently since she is there all the time, she thinks she is everybody's bff. She was genuinely offended when I told her there was no need to touch me
