Are you still going through Costco/Alamo or did you switch companies?

I just went to their website and got a quote for my upcoming trip and an intermediate is about 100 less than my last economy rental but I don't even have a Costco membership. They didn't even ask. Do you know if they would ask at the rental counter? I usually book at AAA and they say that I have to show my card at check in but they never ask for it.

Has anyone driven a V-6 fusion? The damn thing is a ROCKET!

I rented an Impala for a week in Seattle and it's gonna be $360. Damn.

This was my first time renting through Costco, and Alamo did not ask for my Costco card. I was wondering why Alamo would rent a nice car for $6.66 per day, but then I realized that they rely on stupid folks like me to fill up the gas tank.

I had the option for the Fusion, but ended up taking a Dodge Charger since it they suggested that it had more trunk room for golf clubs. It was fine, but he trunk was not very large. All worked out fine, however, since several guys rented clubs.

I have to say that in florida I rented a (didn't know til I got there) chevy spark and it was actually much roomier and perfectly fine for a point a to point b rental...from sixt...I had never heard of them either, but they were far cheaper than name brands and was 50 some bucks for 3 days rental. They had nice new buildings, car and even a mini breakfast bar and drinks...I was impressed, they made a customer.

The Fusion is the same car as the Lincoln MKZ!
