Damn those were some very high winds

Highest recorded wind blast last night was 97mph. My neighbor has a tree that blew over into his Lexus. The house just south of me has a huge pine tree where several large branches broke. My liquid amber lost several major branches, and every last dead needle in my Redwood blew into my yard. My power is still out, the traffic lights are out (Arcadia and Pasadena) and the streets look like a disaster zone with all of the trees that blew over. It is my understanding this is heading east and has already struck Utah.

That's horrible. The rain from this storm is just starting to hit Phoenix.
It is here in albuquerqe now. Record winds of +75 mph. Damage all over the city. I can remember the fierce hot santa Ana winds when I lived in riverside but never remember them hitting this far east.
I came home to no power last night. For blocks it was pitch black. Even the traffic signals are completely out. I went out and over to another city to watch the game at a bar and then headed home. I was able to find some candles. I went to be early and got up early to beat the traffic. Hopefully they have it fixed today.

I just got back from Vegas 2 hours ago. Wednesday there were some super high winds! I was on the 15th floor of THEhotel and it was insane!! Sounded like the windows were going to blow through!!
