Darwin strikes again

Not sure what it is about India, but another rather idiotic selfie death has occurred. I find it so hard to believe that anyone would pick up a gun and NOT treat it as if it's loaded, whether one knows it is or not.

Teen killed posing for selfie with gun

Ramandeep Singh was posing with his father’s pistol Friday night when he accidentally pulled the trigger, investigators said.

Singh was taken to the hospital and was pronounced dead on Sunday.

Statistics released earlier this year put India on top of the list for selfie-related deaths. India accounted for 19 — or nearly 40 percent – of the 49 fatalities over three years worldwide.

This should reduce the effects of Darwinian natural selection on the human species, . . . but only marginally.

On the other hand, it may be more akin to houseflies that darwinism. One housefly eliminated, and by some miracle, 238 take it's place. Hard concept to comprehend, it is.
Are we now going to see a warning label on the gun (or on the selfie stick) telling you to not take a selfie with a loaded gun?
