That really sucks ass. I have to be at work at 3pm so now I wont be able to watch it all unless I go sneak off somewhere.

They just released information...The 500 has been moved to 7PM EST tonight.

Everyone saying "Hopefully we can get it in"


This sucks! I hate rain outs!! Last year we had way too many of them! This year, its already starting shitty!

What the hell kind of a statement is that ?

If you don't like the frickin sport, or if you can't comprehend the strategy, skill, and dedication it takes to be successful in this sport , then don't click on the thread and leave an asinine comment.

How bout that "cowboy" named Jeff Gordon ? Made some 28 million dollars last year. And didn't cheat on his wife with some skank ho (or ho's), unlike other multi-million dollar sports stars.

And don't even begin to tell me I don't know what the hell I'm talking about. I have followed this sport for 40+ years, been to over 90 races, and have been a crewman on a Cup team.

There is a lot more to it then "go round and round"

As a longtime motorsports fan, including NASCAR, NHRA, F1, INDY CAR, etc., I totally agree the comment was unnecessary. If someone doesn't like a sport, simply ignore the thread about it and move on.

But part of your reply may need a slight rethink:

Brooke Gordon divorced Jeff a few years back citing "Marital Misconduct" on Jeff's part, and she ended up with a pretty big chunk of his NASCAR change in her purse because of it. Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean he cheated with a "skank ho"... but perhaps he's not the best example to use?

Totally agree marcisdave. I hate golf but I would never criticize the game.
