deadliest catch

I'm watching the show and started to wonder,is there any place in vegas where you can get a whole king crab?Seeing some of these monsters thay pull up, i'd love to be able to get one of those guys for dinner. Some have bodys the size of a 5 gal. bucket lid.
I searched a little bit and couldn't find anything.
I've eaten whole dungess crab before and felt i could've eaten a second one,so i'm thinking, on a good day,i might be able to eat a whole king crab. Even if i couldn't ,i'd sure like to try

JOHN

A little stone crab trivia-the reason you can only get stone crab claws is that when the fishermen catch them, they onlt break off one leg and throw the crab back where it will grow a new one. I saw that on cooking channel i think the other day. I thought that was pretty interesting.
Don't know about Vegas John, take a look at the Deadlest Catch web site and you should see a link for buying Alaskan seafood. The shipping is the killer $37, so you will have to buy a bunch (or a few whole crab) to account for the cost of the shipping.

I am not an expert on crab by any means, I am a new England boy born and raised and know my way around a lobster pound and most sea food, so I will throw my 2 cents worth in here.

Anyway, I was in Las Vegas two weeks ago and ate crab at the Rio buffet (warm at best) but had a really cool plastic tool that I have never seen, that split the crab, then you tipped the tool over and it pulled the meat out. The waiter was very helpful showing us how to use it. At the Fremont Casino, they had both hot (heat lamp warm) and cold crab(on ice) and were split open for you,(looked like they were cut by a machine??)

neither casino had king crab. What kind of crab they were I have no idea, but like I said they were definetly not king crab. That eliminates 2 casinos....anyone else?

I don't know but I don't think you'll find it at a buffet.
