dealer schools / getting a job as a dealer

If you are in Las Vegas, I'd ask a few pit bosses for their opinion. They work with the dealers, and should be much better informed than the folks here.

Several years ago there was a LVA poster who was in dealer school and he would give regular updates. I can't remember their screen name.

I know, I used to follow his dealings thru dealer school. He also was on a different website. I dont know what happened to him.

Last year in the summer of 2010 I went to Vegas and stayed at the Paris. I flew in, so I was taking a cab everywhere since it was 115F outside. 6 out of the 8 different cab drivers I spoke to were former dealers. They were let go because of slow business. They hated thier cab jobs and wanted thier dealer jobs back, but it was slow from what I was told by these people. I wish you luck.
